Here are 5 tips to help your client provide the best possible safety environment:
1) Inspect workplace(s) to identify and correct unsafe and
hazardous conditions
2) Consistently take reasonable actions to prevent workplace
injuries. For example, use color codes, posters, labels or
signs to warn employees of potential hazards
3) Establish or update operating procedures and communicate
them so employees follow safety and health requirements
4) Immediately report any serious injury, illness or death to
OSHA within 8 hours
5) Establish, implement and maintain an Injury and Illness
Prevention program and update it periodically to keep employees safe
